Rugbytour Sri Lanka

 

Day 1- 4 

You and your team will arrive in the capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo. After you check-in at the hotel it is time to rest from the long flight. Wander around this busy city or relax at the beach. The second days there will be training sessions at the rugby complex in Colombo.
Besides the training sessions there will more than enough opportunities to work on fitness or cardio in the fitness facilities of the hotel. In the afternoon you and team can choose to relax or go on a excursion and go sightseeiing. After some training session it is team to play the first friendly game against a local team. It is possible to play a friendly against the top teams of Sri Lanka  in the Colombo Racecourse International Arena. 
 

Day 4-8

After a few days of training sessions, fitness, matches and sightseeing in the area of Colombo it is time to move one to other rugby grounds. The executive coach will take to the inland of Sri Lanka. Here in the inland there are more opportunities to play friendly matches and have training sessions. The first stop is Kandy. In this city there is a lot to see and do, here you have plenty opportunities for excellent food d a lot of  sightseeing like The Temple of the Tooth Relic.  After you visited Kandy it is time to move on and have training sessions at the Kandy rugby academy. In the area of the rugby academy there are a lot of opportunities for friendly matches at, for example, Kingwood College and Trinity College Rugby Stadium. 

 

 

Day 5-8

After some intens rugby in the area of Kandy in central Sri Lanka it is time to have a look at the east coast of the island. In the area of Aragam bay you will find beautifull beaches and great hotels. The east coast of the country is perfect for surfing and there are a lot of beach parties at night. After you had a some rest at the east coast you can start you travel back to Colombo or go up North.

 

Day 8-11

On the way back you can travel via Nuwara Eliya. Here you can climb Adam's peak. This a holy place for bhuddists and it's considerd a must for every Sri Lankan to climb the mountain at least one time in his life. Enjoy the stunning view on top of the mountain at sunset. 

 

Day 11-14

Travel back via Yala National Park and go on a safari with your team. If you are lukcy you get to see a lot of wild animals. Around here there are plenty opportunities for excellent overnight accomodation and great curry. Enjoy the last days for rest for the next training and friendly match. 

 

Day 14-16 

Last stop: Galle. In this city you will have your last training sessions and matches against local (college) teams. Choose how many training session you would like have or have cardio and fitness training at the facilities in your hotel. From Galle it is easy to get back to the international aiport of Colombo.
